CORNELS OPENS MODERN PRODUCTION FACILITY (10,000M2)

Next step in international growth

CORNELS®, the Dutch brand in state-of-the-art customised canopies, glass systems and awnings, has taken the next step in its international expansion strategy. The leading brand is opening its own fully equipped production facility in Istanbul. This involves the acquisition of an existing, modern factory. This also means that the CORNELS team is expanding. The existing production team has over 20 years of experience in the design, engineering and production of high-end canopies.

With this development, CORNELS is taking full control of the production process, from engineering to finishing. Where as CORNELS’ products were previously manufactured by other manufacturers, we are now opting for faster and more consistent innovation and complete control over the quality of our customised products.

Modern 10,000 m² production facility

The new production facility covers an area of 10,000 m² and is equipped with its own modern powder coating line and advanced machinery. This strategic step enables CORNELS® to:

• Further increase product quality,
• Develop product lines in a targeted manner,
• And accelerate international roll-out.

The opening underlines the brand’s commitment to high-quality, modular systems that are scalable worldwide and at the same time allow for individual customisation. The headquarters will remain in Amsterdam, from where even more major steps will soon be taken in the growth of the brand.

Restructuring of the collection

The opening of the factory is accompanied by a strategic shift in focus within the product range. CORNELS® will now concentrate on the most successful and further developed product lines. The former name NEXT GENERATION will be discontinued: these products now form the core of the permanent collection.

International ambitions and dealer support

With this investment, CORNELS® is strengthening its position as a high-quality European player in the luxury outdoor living sector. The production location forms a solid foundation for our global ambitions. In addition, this step enables us to better serve our worldwide dealer network with faster deliveries, stronger product support and an even more consistent level of quality. In addition to this milestone, we will also be investing heavily in the Western European market. You will be seeing and hearing a lot from CORNELS in the coming period.
