Basic Card Game Strategy Lesson

Always keep these sure winners - Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, and a Full House.

1. Four Cards to a Royal Flush - draw one card.
2. Flush or Straight - hold this except to draw 1 card to a 4 card royal.
3. Four Card Straight Flush - inside or outside - draw 1 card.
4. Three of a Kind - draw two cards.
5. Two Pair - draw 1 card.
6. Pair of Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces - draw 3 cards.
7. Four cards to a Flush - draw 1 card.
8. Three Card Royal Flush - draw 2 cards.
9. Pair (2's to 10's) - draw 3 cards - NEVER keep a 'kicker'.
10. Four Card Straight (outside straights only) - draw 1 card - NEVER draw to an inside straight.
11. Three Card Straight Flush (inside or outside) - draw 2 cards.
12. Two High Cards (J, Q, K or A) - draw 3 cards If you have 3 High cards, hold 2 of the same suit, or the 2 lowest if you don't have 2 suited.
13. One High Cards ( J, Q, K or A) - draw 4 cards.
14. Nothing - draw 5 new cards.
